Designed by renowned architect William Cody, AIA, this classic and very original home features a pitched roof supported by exposed beams, tile floors and rough plastered walls. The architecture here represents Mr. Cody's modern take on the hacienda of early California which was influenced by his earlier partnership with California home designer Cliff May. Heavy, adobe-like wall form the front of the house while huge expanses of glass makes up the back walls, allowing for privacy from the street and that seamless connection out to the expansive backyard and pool which is the hallmark of mid-century modern architecture.
